Just a few days ago, Wistine revealed that PSP's Space Invaders Extreme could be used to launch VHBL on the latest Sony official Vita firmware. Since then the game has been removed from the EU PlayStation Store, and scene developer qwikrazor87 is finally ready to share his efforts. After suffering from a few problems in the first release, this second version launches a lot quicker. Instead of having to wade through several menus, VHBL should load in just a few seconds with this update.
For those that don't know, VHBL is a customized homebrew launcher that allows Vita owners to run a small selection of PSP homebrews. These mostly equate to classic system emulators for SNES, NES, and more, but also include a few utilities like PSPFiler. This particular exploit is exclusive to the EU and AUS stores, but those looking for a US hack might see one soon! The save is auto loaded so you don't need to load the save yourself.
